20-year partner in Montgomery & Merrill, PC (now Montgomery & Granai, PC) Marcia is a retired CPA who lives in Jericho. She devoted her accounting career to working with small businesses and NFPs. She joined the GNOP Board in December of 2019.   

Marcia earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from William Smith College and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Rochester Institute of Technology. 

Marcia is passionate about author Jane Austen, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) as Assistant National Treasurer.  She served on the Vermont Region of JASNA Board of Directors as both Treasurer and Co-Regional Director.  

For many years, Marcia served in multiple capacities in organizations both local and national: as a Commissioner on the Vermont Commission on Women and Chair for 10 years; the Vermont Council for Rural Development; State President of the Vermont Federation of Business & Professional Women (BPW) which included a position on the National BPW Board of Directors.  She also served on the National Finance Committee of that organization for several years.

Marcia’s experience in public accounting and non-profit board experience will help guide GNOP’s finances in its second decade.
