Among Tressia’s outstanding creative accomplishments, the Board was particularly struck with her commitment and devotion to using theater as a powerful tool to effect social change and help to build a better and more inclusive sense of community. Tressia exhibits a deep commitment to both acting and playwriting, and we know that she will continue to apply her theatrical gifts and imagination to educate, unite, and elevate the human condition. Her devotion to creating theatrical opportunities and a platform for marginalized people to tell their stories and for their voices to be heard is critically important.

 

Tressia will join the Freshman Class at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York in the Fall. On behalf of the Co-Founders and Board of Directors, we wish her well as she heads to New York for the next chapter of her journey.
